I’m going to give you the quick vision of these emails below and then on this upcoming Tuesday, if you sign up, you’ll receive your first email of The 1159 … I’m stoked!

Why “1159”? Great question!

This is our “family number” which represents to us the fact that God is never late in providing for our needs, even if it comes down to 11:59 on the clock the night before we need it. He is faithful, every time!

We call them “1159 moments”. You know, those times when you’re believing for something and it gets down to the wire.

Maybe its using the last of your savings before landing that job/client that you’ve been praying for and WHAM! there’s a client at your door.

Or the day before you have to move out of your apartment and then WHAM! the amount you needed for rent shows up.

Whatever the case may be, it’s a moment where God tests your faith, and then proves your faith… often at the last second.

But hey, that’s the life we should be living though, right? Always believing that God WILL come through, showing His might and proving His faithfulness.

And that’s where this email came from: from the heart to encourage you to press in and believe for those 1159 moments in your own life.

Some Tuesdays will be deeper than others, some goofier than others, and some will just be comprised of a list of resources I found enlightening, encouraging, and helpful that week.

But at the end of the day, it’s hopefully an email that will encourage you along your own journey, reminding you that our God is a God of 1159s (and sometimes 59 seconds) and that He is faithful.

 

Why “Tuesday”? Another great question!

It’s selfish, I’ll admit it.

Tuesday is one of my least favorite days of the week. (Sorry Tuesday)

It didn’t do anything to me, per se. It’s just that it seems to be consistently where I lose motivation each week.

Monday starts out strong; I’m ready to attack my goals, respond to emails, start new projects, etc.

But then Tuesday rolls around and that ambition and motivation begins to wane and I’m caught treading into the 80% of my week that yields 20% of my results (thanks Pareto).

This email is designed to challenge me to turn outward on the very day I want to hide from the world.

It’s designed to be encouraging, with thoughts, quotes, resources, and more, that encourage you to live a life of passion and purpose.

It’s a dynamic email, one that will evolve over time, and shift in its layout and approach (mostly driven by your feedback).

But the end goal of every 1159 email will be to leave you thinking deeper, thinking clearer, and hopefully more encouraged to take on the week and make an impact where you are (your sphere of influence), believing for those 1159 miracles.

This isn’t just some email marketing campaign that I queue up and never think about again. It’s written fresh, every week.

In fact, I invite you to reply to each email and share your own thoughts in response to what I write, and feedback on how I could I support you better through this humble email series.

It might take me 24-48 hours, or so, to respond but I plan to respond to each and every email that comes through.

I am so excited to begin this adventure with you, and I look forward to each step along the way!
