On Action

And I could elude to the contents (may or may not have had anything to do with Iran, local business owners, running your mouth, being a coward, etc.) but I think I’ll tone it down to this…….

Take action.

You don’t know how the Lord will work it out, you won’t know where the resources will show up, and you can’t know how it all connects (not yet at least).

Just take the step in front of you, by faith, and be confident through surrender that your foot will land on solid ground.

This is something that I realized so clearly these past two weeks as I pursued a certain business opportunity with remarkable speed, dedication, and resolve.

I’ve been battling this lie, that all I’m good for is having ideas, not executing them.

This week, I had to prove that wrong; not to others, but to myself.

What I’m learning is that confidently taking action while maintaining surrender is a feat (seemingly) near impossible for me as a human.

But it’s essential and comprised of several smaller key lessons.

Validate your ideas.

Keep your hands open.

Keep your head down and eyes up.

Steady your heart, maintain love, devotion, and loyalty.

Transparency breeds trust.

Follow up, follow up, follow up.

Don’t shy away from who you’re meant to be, called to be, and made to be.

This past week has left my chest hurting, my lungs out of breath, and my head in nearly a constant dull headache, but I wouldn’t trade a single day of that brutal week for anything.

Bias toward action - I need more of that in my life.
