Simplicity is Key
That is single-handedly, without a doubt, the greatest lesson I've learned from this past week.
Again, I'm not ready to divulge everything, but we had a major blow to ops at Dovito last weekend, causing every bit of my schedule to be turned on its head in response.
As I'm praying about what this means long term, considering what needs to be different, I'm seeing over and over the need for SIMPLICITY.
I overcomplicated everything; and I didn't see it.
And it's awesome, because I'm given another chance to do it better, this time with all the junk removed and a fresh slate in front of me.
The mission is the same.
The objective clear.
The process refined.
All with greater simplicity.
And I'm thinking through my life in all of this, because frankly, it feels like everything around is spinning, all because I was hit in the head by something else.
How can I simplify?
How can I reduce noise and make my life operations more lean?
What are the essentials?
What are the mission critical items?
And now, execute.
