Update… Basically, Fail Fast
Happy Tuesday, friend!
No, you're not crazy. I haven't sent an email in 3 weeks.
I can't even begin to explain what all has happened; it's all good, but man...... when it rains, it pours.
I flew out to spend a weekend with R's family, an absolute blast! From there, it was back to work, just not 11p nights at the office like the 4 weeks before.
That said, it's been wild. We revamped our internal systems...... DRASTICALLY updating our efficiency and team collaboration - thank God for technology and teams that are understanding.
Other investments have been taking up MAJOR time, but I realize that sacrifices now pave the way for rewards later. I'll take a brutal work week now for an evening playing with my kids in the backyard later. This is for you guys.
So, have things taken a hit - oh yeah. Workouts are suffering, meal tracking would be embarrassing to disclose, and the 1159 has been dormant.
But I'm now beginning to stack micro habits again, intentionally, to build a new lifestyle for the next 3 years of insanity that I'm gearing up for.
And yes, I'm putting my head down for 3 years to build some incredible things, built on the back of these past 3 years, just a little more aggressively than ever before. It's going to be lit.
Update... Basically, Fail Fast I'm overwhelmed, excited, scared, ready, not ready ... all the vibes when I think about what my career looks like over the next 3 years.... and beyond.
We've been building for years, 3 specifically, and I was determined to be as successful as possible as soon as possible.
Took about 8 months after starting to realize that it would mean failing as much as possible as soon as possible to achieve that.
Then another 1.5 years to really experience it.
But here we are, majorly niched down, team growing, new office space, in discussions with companies I'm thrilled to work with....
And yet, I'm realizing, we need to fail more.
Wild, I know, but it's essential to growth.
I can't tell you how much I am ready to be done with startup mode. 🙃
However, we continue on!
So, I'm still gearing up to release my first article this week (aiming to release 2 per week), begin the coffee tours on IG, planning to systemize these emails and tailor the themes more to create a series, and as to Dovito - I can't wait to show you these case studies we're going to be releasing on the site :D
But the moral of the story these past 3 weeks is once again, fail fast.
It's worth it,
it's hard
But it's worth it.
Thanks to the team, R, my family, and everyone involved on a daily basis in this journey - it's been insane and I can't do it without you guys.
See you next week, on Tuesday, on time, on theme ;)
