You're a Puzzle Piece…
I seem to be writing the more impactful emails on the fly, and that's what those first 3 weeks of WoW honestly were; I was learning each of those lessons those weeks. I'll get back to it, but not sure when :)
Today, if you've followed me on Instagram for 6 months or longer, then you've seen this once or twice in my stories.
This is a concept that has majorly impacted me and has challenged and simultaneously encouraged me every time I ponder it.
I hope the same for you. It's pretty short but standing out to me this week ... let's get into it.
“You’re a puzzle piece in the RIGHT puzzle box.” I was looking through my quote list for something to post a while back and saw this one.
I remember when I heard this, probably a year ago now, and it hit me with its profundity.
“You’re a puzzle piece in the RIGHT puzzle box.”
See, sometimes it’s really hard to see where we fit in.
It’s challenging to know what we’re on this earth for.
It seems impossible to find purpose.
It’s super hard to see the big picture.
It’s difficult to see how all the circumstances in our lives make sense and are ACTUALLY for our good.
To use the illustration; you’re one piece in a puzzle.
You might not know where you go … YET.
You might not understand why the unknowns and confusion … YET.
You might not see the big picture … YET.
But God didn’t put you in the wrong puzzle box.
Read that again.
He placed you on this earth, at this time, INTENTIONALLY. He placed you right where He wanted you.
He placed you on earth 'for such a time as this'.
You have a purpose, friend.
You have an amazing story to be written.
And you have an amazing and loving Father who will walk each step of the way with you … if only you would turn to Him.
So my friends, stick with it! It’s another amazing day to be alive, and while the stresses and confusion and busyness may not have decreased; I know Who my God is, I trust His plan for my life, and I can’t wait to see what this finished puzzle will look like someday.
Remember that it's okay to not have it all figured out. Planning is essential, discipline is crucial, consistency is key -- but it's also important to take a second and just breathe.
You've got this!
(If it's helpful, go back and read Measure Backward. It gives a practical way to remember how far you've come when you start to question why you aren't where you had hoped you would be by now. Another one might be A True 1159.)
Enjoy the week!
You're doing amazing - keep up the great work, friend!
